A Zombies Life

Gamecock football gone wrong

Last night USC played Auburn. The first half was good. We went into the half time ahead by six. What happened after the half was nothing but a slaughter. Auburn came back and won 35 to 27. I think this teamed has improved and matured this year, but Garcia still can’t handle pressure like he should be able to. There were several plays where he was sacked, which led coach Spurrier to chew him out and even ask why he just didn’t throw the ball away. It seemed Garcia was uncertain, even waiting for someone to be there that wasn’t going to be. This was our first away game and first loss out of four games. We have this Saturday off. I foresee a bunch of practicing and drills.  Hopefully in two weeks we can definitely improve.

Kenny McKinley

I have some sad news to share today. For those of you who are sports fans,  Kenny McKinley, who played for the Denver Broncos and who also was a Carolina Gamecock in college, was found dead in his home from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. No one knows the reason this happened but death is never a topic that anyone wants to talk about. May all of our condolences go to those who he left behind.

Charity

Charity is not dead. We all come to a point in our lives where we need a little help because, even as well planned as we have been, something blindsided us.  Bone McGraw is do a fundraiser for charity with a little help from his friends. You can go to www.bonemcgraw.com/charityfundrasier.htm to view this calendar and make a purchase. Proceeds from the sale of these calendars will fund charities they support as well as get the news out about them and what they do. The gauntlet will be medical charities to homeless charities to educational charities for children. Look forward to more about this in the future.
